Our school is committed to the idea of photography as an accessible means of personal and artistic expression. To that effect, PhotoManhattan has been for the past 9+ years, offering solid  photography instruction at rates that are a fraction than those offered around the area.
Located at Union Square our school is surrounded by photo galleries and stores and a few minutes away from the artsy environment of lower Manhattan.

Courses
PhotoManhattan's curriculums have been tested and improved over the years to provide solid and dynamic training to thousands of students of all levels. Whether you just want to learn how to use your camera in full manual mode or master the techniques of Studio and Lighting, PhotoManhattan is the place for you!
We pride ourselves of providing a hands on learning environment with in class shooting, great group dynamics as well as a personable and fun atmosphere.
Standard Course prices:

Private classes: $45-$70 (Minimum 1-hour)

Seminars & Private Classes
* FREE monthly seminars: These sessions are designed to provide the opportunity to observe a real class as an open house. Free for all.
* Private classes: Should the mix and match of other courses not fit your schedule, you can always build your own. For affordable rates, we have several instructors and times for you to pick from. Rentals
PhotoManhattan offers its students the option to book Studio and Darkroom Rentals that can be used to develop an ongoing portofolio, or simply to further experiment with the material learned in class, We believe this is a great way to push your photography to the next dimension. One-on One tutors are available to guide your through when needed. Starting at $40 p/h studio. $13 p/h darkroom.

Our monthly student exhibitions are a great opportunity to meet with our talented instructors and speak with our students to get a genuine feel of the school. Free admission and complimentary snacks. Everybody is welcome!
