This course is a training on the creative side of Photography. Students will learn how to apply the techniques learned in Photo I and Photo 2 towards creating compelling imagery and developing a personal style. Students will be introduced to the work of various photographers, will have weekly group critiques of their own work, and will be tutored in color theory and design, creative landscape lighting, original artificial lighting, basic image manipulation in Photoshop, as well as the history of photography and past artistic movements.
The fundamentals of Photography such as using the camera in Manual mode, depth of field, basics of composition, motion blur will not be covered other than by way of a quick review as students are expected to already handle the technical aspects of Photography learned in Photo I and Photo II, or have equivalent experience.
So to profit the most from your learning experience, we recommended taking Photo 3 prior to any specialized courses such as Studio Lighting or Food photography, so that to be able to merge the creative aspects of Photography learned in Photo 3 towards any future courses. $325-$365.
** There is a 50% discount for students who completed Photography II prior to June 2012. (?)
