Registration - Payment Policy
Due to the small size of courses, of between 5 to 15 students, as well as the economical rates being offered and the amount of students on registrations' waiting-list, PhotoManhattan does not offer refunds or credits. Please be sure of your schedule before you sign up for your course. For any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us at 212 929-3302. Thanks!

PAYMENT POLICY

  • No refunds are available for any of our services, unless cancellation is done by PhotoManhattan.

 

REGISTRATION DEPOSIT

  • Registration deposit used to reserve your space in the course of your choice and is deducted from the full course fee.
  • No REFUNDS OR CREDITS are available for REGISTRATION DEPOSITS.
  • After a deposit is made, you may not switch or use the deposit as credit towards a course other than the one originally registered for. (Please see below if full balance is paid).

 

BALANCE (remaining after Deposit)

  • The remaining Balance for a course or a rental IS DUE ON THE FIRST CLASS OR RENTAL, respectively.
  • In case of absence to the first class, please pick up your course material and join on the second class. Full balance must be paid before receiving course material.

NOTE: Should it be necessary, courses will be assigned a different instructor than that stated online.

 

COURSE CANCELLATIONS BY PHOTOMANHATTAN

  • Courses will be cancelled if less than 4 people are present on the first class. In this case, PhotoManhattan will offer students a full refund of the amount paid OR a full credit towards a new course, within 4 weeks of the cancelled course start date.
  • If the student chooses to use the credit towards a new course, PhotoManhattan's policy will then apply.

 

IN CASE OF COURSE DISCONTINUATION BY STUDENT AFTER PAYMENT OF COURSE IN FULL:

  • PhotoManhattan will offer a 40% discount towards the total course fee of another course of the same category as the original course registration if the below requirements are met:
    1. PhotoManhattan finds that there is availability

    AND

    1. The Student contacts PhotoManhattan before the start of the 3rd class of a 9-week course or the start of the 2nd class of any other shorter course.
  • The remaining 60% of the course fee must be paid in full at the time of switch. No other discounts will be granted thereafter.

NOTE: Any discount will be granted ONE time; No discounts are available for Darkroom and Studio courses.
