Lighting is magical! While you could have the best food styling skills and props in place, your image just won't show if there isn't enough bright light. Similarly, images can come out dull, or flat, or lacking contrast, making food look less than fresh. And then... there's the direction of light, lack of texture, wrong reflections, and beyond.
This workshop will be a hands-on experiment on the whole set of lighting effects available for you to pop that color and brightness in your photos to result in the freshest juiciest food looks. We'll teach you how to work around most scenarios typical of indoor spaces, restaurants, kitchens, homes, and on location where lighting options are limited.
Topics will include working with overhead lights, window light, dark places, and neon light. Additionally, we'll introduce you to a myriad of lighting tricks to enhance your already beautiful photos with texture, contrast, and shine. Workshop will also include easy home-made studio setups that you can use immediatelly after class. Additionally, we'll show you simple accessories and work around techniques that will help you tons for many occasions.
