This hands-on workshop is designed for individuals or businesses looking to improve the quality and look of their images of small to medium size products, including hand made crafts, apparel and textile, jewelry and flowers, food or restaurant.
This Photoshoot will consist of a home-made studio focusing on lighting and maximizing quality and efficiency of image making, using equipment that you already have, whether it’s an iPhone, point-and-shoot, DSLR, and limited access to lights. We’ve merged the technical photography how-to's from the pros and adapted the concepts to be used even through the simplicity of phones.
We'll show you how to setup a studio that you can automate for future products, as well as a plethora of techniques for making your images look great, achieve specific backgrounds, tonalities, focus and more in a few quick steps. We'll also introduce you to shooting techniques that are effective for batch editing and automated post production.
Photoshoots are fun and effective. You'll be glad you joined! You’ll be provided with an arsenal of expert tricks and tips, and troubleshooting for successful results. If you have a product that you would like to photograph, please feel free to bring it.
Requirements: Any camera, smartphone, point-and-shoot, Mirrorless, DSLR camera.
Knowledge: We ask that you feel comfortable browsing the settings for your camera and are familiar with basic shooting.
