Course Structure:

Classes will consist of weekly assignments and plenty of hands-on experimentation. We highly recommend taking this course to fully understand lighting dynamics both in and outside of the studio.

⚡ TTL FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY: Off-Camera Strobe Mastery.

This TTL flash course is a thorough training on using your portable flash unit in all essential modes, providing you with the power to control and shape light both on and off-camera. Stop using your flash for simple fill light and start creating cinematic, professional lighting effects.

What You Will Master:

• Flash Modes: Comprehensive training on using your flash in Automatic, TTL (Through-The-Lens), Manual, and Off-Camera modes.
• Multi-Unit Setup: Learn special techniques for setting up creative lighting, covering off-camera flash and configurations of up to 3 units, using both wired and wireless triggers.
• Hands-On Learning: Class shooting and demonstrations will utilize PhotoManhattan’s professional equipment, complemented by weekly assignments using your own flash unit.

🎬 DSLR VIDEO PRODUCTION: Expanding Your Camera Knowledge.

Make those pictures move! Expand your skills to take full advantage of today's digital camera's ever-expanding HD video capabilities. This hands-on video workshop will guide you through the full settings of your camera to produce the best videos possible.

What You Will Master:

• Camera Settings: Hands-on instruction covering all video settings you need to know to produce great videos using a traditional photography camera.
• Video Fundamentals: Introduction to the essentials of video making, from smooth tripod operation to freehand movement and control.
• Sound Mastery: Learn key sound settings and how to use microphones (provided by PhotoManhattan) for professional audio capture.

This comprehensive course takes you through the entire process of shooting wedding photography, from pre-event planning through post-production delivery. Although strictly focused on weddings, the content is universally applicable to high-stakes event photography.
