What You Will Master:

  • Library Management: Learn to properly **import, catalog, and organize** photos into the library module, and how to protect your assets from loss due to computer failure.
  • Non-Destructive Editing: Master the Develop module to optimize and edit photos using tools for global adjustments.
  • Output & Sharing: Learn efficient methods for sharing photos, including exporting for social media, web pages, client delivery, and professional photo printing.

Classes are practical and hands-on, ensuring you can comfortably implement a secure and efficient digital asset management system by the end of the course.

Learn how to effectively fine-tune your pictures through post-processing using the industry-leading software. This foundational course provides practical instruction to help you gain confidence with core Photoshop tools and techniques for global image adjustments.

What You Will Master:

  • Tonal Control: Mastering key adjustments like brightness and contrast, Levels, and Curves for perfect exposure and tonality.
  • Color Correction: Achieve accurate and vibrant colors using tools like Color Balance and other essential methods.
  • Basic Retouching: Learn to use fundamental tools like the Clone Stamp tool and Filters for cleaning up and enhancing your images.
  • Practical Workflow: Within each class, you will be guided through the software using both in-class images and your own, ensuring immediate application of learned skills.

  • Layer Masks: Deep dive into **Layer masks, Adjustment Layer masks, and Gradient masks** for targeted, non-destructive editing.
  • Selection Tools: Advanced control using selection tools like Lasso, Marquee, Magic Wand, and Color Range for isolating specific areas.
  • Advanced Tonal & Color: In-depth review of Photoshop Levels and curves, advanced tonal adjustments, and professional color correction techniques.
  • Raw File Processing: Comprehensive instruction on handling Raw files using Camera Raw for maximizing image data before entering Photoshop.
